Cheers To Your Nourishment
I lead with empathy, inclusion, and nonjudgment to cultivate sustainable lifestyle nutrition change. My ideal client enjoys being around a considerate, open-minded, patient, and friendly personality. Let's collaborate on creating new habits that matter to you, focus on what can be added to the diet, not taken away, where nutrition care is restrictive only when necessary. I aim to empower clients to achieve goals they were always capable of reaching.
Hello everyone, JC here! I am the owner of Alhambra Nutrition LLC and currently work at a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Southeast Asian Studies from UC Berkeley, my Master of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University in Washington, and completed my dietetic internship from Wellness Workdays. I’m an American Council On Exercise - Certified Health Coach (ACE-CHC) and I’m currently pursuing the credential to become a CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist).
I used to have prediabetes and a class 2 obesity BMI. I was able to reverse these conditions, but I wish I had a nutrition professional to guide me. At Alhambra Nutrition LLC, my goal is to be that guide and promote sustainable eating habits through accessible nutrition solutions. I offer in-person nutrition counseling sessions at two office locations or patient home visits. I also offer secure video or phone sessions.
I want you to feel well in the skin that you’re in and gain confidence in your food choices. Let’s address your health condition, demanding schedule, stress, financial hardship, the overwhelming amount of confusing diet information, or whatever the issue, with personalized tools to improve your nutrition.
Together, I will help you cultivate new habits that cater to you, align with your intentions, and spark a change for the better.
